The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) serves as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities, representing the top government, industry and military professionals in the fields of information technology, communications and intelligence. A non-profit international association, AFCEA is dedicated to supporting global security by providing an ethical environment that encourages a close cooperative relationship among civil government agencies, the military and industry. AFCEA’s members, associates and sponsors are among the world’s leading designers, planners, manufacturers, testers and users of systems, services and components for IT, communications and intelligence.

ITUG is an international and independent, non-profit, user run organization of thousands of members representing hundreds of companies that serves as a key vehicle for the exchange of information about HP's NonStop-related solutions and services. ITUG provides the information and resources its members need to conduct business in HP's open system environment and maximize the best software and architectures available from alliance partners and developers.

The InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) is the forum of choice for information technology developers, producers and users for the creation and maintenance of formal de jure IT standards. INCITS is accredited by, and operates under rules approved by, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). These rules are designed to ensure that voluntary standards are developed by the consensus of directly and materially affected interests. INCITS is the primary U.S. focus of standardization in the fields of information storage, processing, transfer, display, management, organization and retrieval. INCITS maintains over 50 technical committees responsible for over 750 published standards.
Crossroads is a member of the both the INCITS’ T10 and T11 Technical Committees. The T10 Technical Committee is responsible for the Small Computer System Interface (SCSI), including its architecture, command sets, protocols and physical interface specifications. The T11 Technical Committee is responsible for device level interfaces and is currently working on fibre channel and storage management standards.

The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) is a not-for-profit global organization, made up of more than 460 member companies and close to 7,000 active individuals spanning virtually the entire storage industry. SNIA members share the common goal of advancing the adoption of storage networks as complete and trusted solutions. To this end, the SNIA is uniquely committed to delivering standards, education and services that will propel open storage networking solutions into the broader market.
