About Max Levy

Max Levy is a principal with Conversant Capital LLC, a private investment firm that pursues credit and equity investments in the real estate, digital infrastructure and hospitality sectors in both the public and private markets.

Prior to joining Conversant, Levy was an investment analyst at The Baupost Group, where he specialized in real estate investments in North America and Europe. During this time, he also was responsible for sourcing and evaluating equity and debt investments in all property types in both private real estate and public securities.
Levy began his career as an investment banking analyst for Hentschel & Co., a boutique real estate advisory firm, where he assisted public real estate investment trusts and private real estate companies on mergers, acquisitions and raising capital.

He serves as director of Sonida Senior Living, an owner-operator of senior living communities. Levy earned a Bachelor of Arts in intellectual history from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude.
